The Monrovia Historic Preservation Group is one of the largest non-profit Organizations in Monrovia with an active membership of nearly 200 households. Founded in 1980, MOHPG acts as a source of information and a support group for those restoring their homes, raises public awareness on the importance of preserving Monrovia's architectural heritage, sponsors a home tour every Mother's Day, opening several of the city's outstanding homes to the public, is the guardian of the Boxx Jeweler's clock in Old Town Monrovia, and in April 2009 completed the restoration of the USPS mural which now proudly hangs in the new library. Monrovia Internal Medicine and Primary Care (MIMPC) is a unique medical service specializing in accessible and personalized general medical care. We offer House Call Visits, Web Cam Consults, Telephone Consults, Traditional Office Visits, Work Place Visits, Concierge Services, Small Business Wellness, Seminars and Educational Services. Our online scheduler allows for our clients to conveniently select one or more of the above services and book their own appointment any time 24 hours a day. Our main hours are M-F 8am-5pm, but same day, after hours, and weekend services are also available. Our consultation prices range between $49- $250. A travel charge may apply for services conducted outside of Monrovia. Monrovia Reads is a non-profit community organization that began in 2001 as a result of discussion and planning involving the City of Monrovia, the Monrovia Unified School District and the Monrovia Chamber of Commerce. Literacy was the topic of discussion and it was determined that this was a concern the community could and should address collaboratively.
