Another Kid's Treasure, a maternity, baby and kids consignment boutique was opened in the last quarter of 2012 by a local mom who saw a need in the San Gabriel Valley to offer families an opportunity to recycle the items their kids so quickly outgrow. Shoppers and sellers enjoy a shopping experience that includes an opportunity to earn money, save money, help the environment and enjoy discount shopping. The fourth Saturday of each month the store hosts a swap event from noon - 2 p.m. where moms can trade their household items, clothes books, etc. for items brought in by other swappers. Each month has a swap theme, for the March 23rd event the theme is Easter. More info on the swap events is available on the website, www.monroviakids.com Kids outgrow items so fast. Another Kid's Treasure offers parents a way to save money on 'new to them items' for their kids and get a return out of the money spent on items their kids have outgrown. Store hours are Wednesday 9:30 a.m.- noon, Thursday 3-5:30 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Watch for additional hours this summer as this new trend grows.
