6th Annual Relay For Life of Monoriva
Saturday June 5th & Sunday June 6th
We all know someone who has been touched by cancer, whether it's a family member, a friend, or the neighbor down the street. Relay for Life is American Cancer Society's signature fundraising event designed to bring together those who touched by cancer in our community - cancer patients, survivors, their families and friends.
More than 40 teams will gather at Monrovia's Library Park to participate in the fight against cancer, camping in the park overnight, and having at least one team member walking on the track during all 24 hours to signify that cancer never sleeps.
This family-friendly event is filled with free live entertainment, food, contests, performances, kids' activities, and educational information about cancer and the American Cancer Society's programs. Saturday night's Luminaria Ceremony is a moving tribute to remember those lost to cancer. Sunday has more entertainment and a pancake breakfast by the Monrovia Fire Department. Closing ceremonies are at 11am.
Start a team, join a team, make a donation or sponsor the event and help save a life... TODAY.
