About the Chamber
Monrovia has a long, successful tradition as a business-friendly community and the Monrovia Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to maintaining that tradition as it has for more than 100 years.
The Chamber is the eyes, ears and voice of the business community. We work daily with local and regional government and business-related agencies to protect business interests and to keep the community vital through a vital commercial sector.
We often do our work quietly, but we do it all the time, with an emphasis on member services, business retention, economic and community development, job creation and government liaison. In recent years, the Chamber has expanded its program to become a regional force and is recognized as one of California's leading local business organizations. Its membership reflects that, representing firms from throughout the area.
The Chamber serves the business community directly through a wide variety of programs and services, from simple Mixers and Networking Breakfasts to Marketing Assistance, Vendors Fairs, Expos and Business Recruitment. We are very much involved in assisting our hotels and restaurants, shopping and entertainment districts with development and marketing.
The community, too, is the recipient of much Chamber attention, with sponsorship of Town Meetings and Community Fairs, heavy involvement with public education, publication of Community Guides and maps, and assistance at nearly every level of community life.
There are many reasons why good businesses and residents continue to come to Monrovia. The programs and services of the Monrovia Chamber of Commerce are high among them
